Make sure the walnuts / hazelnuts are completely covered and remove from the heat.

12
Dry the church bells
If Tatara is properly prepared Churchkhela drops will not start. Hang the church bells to dry. You can hang it on a stick between two chairs.

13
Dry, remove a few more times and store
Dry the cherries in the sun for 3 or 4 days until they are no longer sticky. After 3-4 days, remove to Tatar. Prepare the tartare again as described above, with only one difference: increase the amount of mash to 2 liters. Even after the second care, dry the church bells in the sun for another 3 or 4 days. You can repeat the process of caring for churchgoers several more times. When the cherries are completely dry, they are ready to be eaten. Store in a dry place for 2-3 months. A thin layer of sugar appears on the surface of the preserved churchkhela – it is natural, at the same time it makes churchkhela more beautiful and delicious.
